You deserve to have beautiful portraits that represent the changes of the seasons with your body. physically and emotionally.
Its my hope that this guide will tell you all about myself, my business, and how my process works from start to finish. By the end of this I hope that you have all of your questions answered and are ready to book your session!
About Me
Hey, I’m Jess!
I’m a mama of three of the most special humans. One happens to be a Childhood Cancer Survivor. My husband and I have been married over 10 years and we reside in Clarksville, Tn.
I enjoy ASMR videos, makeup, nail art and books! I love to read scary books but not watch scary movies (sometimes they’re too real LOL). Im a huge nerd for Star Wars, LOTR, and Harry Potter. I’m also into astrology! Yes, I will absolutely ask what your zodiac sign is.
I’ve been a photographer for over 10 years now and have created memories for so many people. Empowerment portrait work are some of my favorites as I love getting to meet beautiful humans and empower them!
The Experience
A simple, stress-free process from initial inquiry to products in your hand!
If you love the final photos I deliver but don’t love the experience behind them, I haven’t done my job! When you look at your photos, I hope you’ll fondly remember your experience with me! I prioritize communication, connection, and clear expectations throughout the process, so you’ll know exactly what to expect each step of the way.
THE PROCESS
Let’s break it down!
Step 1: Paying your session fee, Pre-Payments, & Studio Meet
To book a session, a $250 fee is required to hold a spot for you in my calendar. This fee covers up to 1 1/2 hours of continuous coverage, a make up day in case your session is rained out and you don’t want to shoot in the rain, a pre-session consultation, access to my client closet and accessories, a prep guide to make the session go as smoothly as possible as well as style advice if you don’t want to use my client closet. You also get a reveal session back at the studio where you will see your edited images for the first time in a beautiful slideshow as well as a sneak peak online! This fee DOES NOT include any digital images or tangible products, as they are sold separately. It is however, taken out of the final total for your collection. After reading through this guide and booking your session, the next step is to book a consultation with me (over the phone or in person) to discuss your needs, your pre-payment plan, get to know each other, and chat about which collection is right for you. What is a pre-payment plan you ask? A pre-payment plan is where you will pay off your collection before the session takes place in small amounts. This payment can be made weekly, bi-weekly and monthly! It is a requirement to book and dates can be customized. You can also pay upfront via Affirm, Afterpay (pay in 4) and Paypal Credit!
Step 2: Get Prepped
After your date has been selected for portraits I will send over my detailed Pre-Session Direction guide that has loads of helpful information on how to make the shoot go as smoothly as possible!
Step 3: empowerment Session
It’s time to capture YOU in beautiful photos! This is such a fun time! Be prepared for some laughs and to leave feeling like you’re on top of the world!
Step 4: In-Person Viewing Session
14 days after your session you’ll come back to my studio to see your STUNNING images via slideshow! Included in the slideshow is 40+ fully edited images. Black and white copies are also included as well as film edits! This reveal session is where you will make any upgrades to your already purchased Collection and be able to add any wall art or album add ons you’d like to purchase!
Step 5: Product Delivery
If you choose a collection with an album or wall art, you will get your digital images the day of your reveal, but in the meantime I will be putting together album slides for you to approve, getting your wall art order put together and sharing your images on social media! I have the BEST wall art company. The products are hand made with love and ethically sourced in the Netherlands! I will do all the print work for you so you can sit back and relax!

have more questions for me?
Does the session fee come with any digital images? No.
Do you offer hair and makeup on site? At this time I do not, but I do give my clients a list of hair and make-up artists that are local to choose from if they wish to use them. I ALWAYS mention how this step isn’t necessary as my job is to show you at your best and you are already beautiful the way you are, but I understand that some like to get glammed up!
Can I bring sentimental items from home to be photographed with? Yes.
Can I have multiple sets? At this time only 1 set is included in the session fee but you can have extra sets at an additional cost!
