I had the once in a lifetime opportunity to photograph a REAL BALL in Nashville at The Bedford! When the opportunity arose I snatched it so quick Im almost sure my husband heard my neck crack from the whiplash LOL. Thank you to the lovely Caitlin Hart and Jenna Wolf for trusting my artistic vision with your beautiful creation!

Planning and Coordination was done by Hey Hey Creative and man, they really outdid themselves!

There were so many amazing pieces to this ball. First, I’d like to point out the theme which was Enemies to Lovers, and COME FREAKING ON! As a girl with 5 major Scorpio placements in her chart, I about FELL OVER! It is absolutely my favorite book trope and all of the artistic pieces to this event just fit together like a puzzle!

Walking into the venue you were immediately DAZZLED by the amazing florals from Beautiful Things Floral & Design. You could smell them all night long!

They had LIVE performances, such as Atwood Quartet, a beautiful song performed by Beth Crowley, and even live actors throughout the event to greet and dance with guests! They even had professional Aerialists tell a beautiful 3 part story throughout the night!

My absolute favorite part of the ball was the amazing DJ Amyxdarlingx. She had a freaking LOTR HOBBIT REMIX. I WAS SPEECHLESS.
You all know how much I love my Hobbitses.

They served custom drinks from KILLJOY which were all alcohol free (they also had a regular bar available from Before and Beyond!) but as someone who doesnt drink and often feels left out when in social drinking settings, this was such a small welcoming touch. They had hors d'oeuvres and small deserts from Actual Food Nashville that were SO delicious it just made you want to dance. Im serious!!! At the end of the second night (yes there are TWO NIGHTS OF FUN!) Alex and I both danced our hearts out with deserts and cameras IN HAND.

They even had a VIP area that had some really awesome perks, such as having the private area to escape to with its own bar, and being able to show up the ball early and get first dibs on all of the vendor goodies, photo opportunities from Retro Photobooth, experiences such as trivia from Trivia Book Club and Tarot Readings!

They also opened up the opportunity for small businesses and authors to be seen by allowing merch to be bought and presented which, to me, is such a huge deal as these small businesses are truly what makes the world go around!

They had a MOBILE book store Slow Burn Bookshop, STUNNING and captivating jewelry from Darling Embers, unique crafts from Cora Crea Crafts, crystals, perfume and more from Sapphire & Sage, and delicious smelling candles from Miss Daisy’s Boutique.
